Floral designs mixed with a helping of redecorating (because I can't help myself), a side of motherhood, and hopefully a splash of humor....unless I post before I've had caffeine, in which case you'll be lucky to get coherent sentences.

600 Penny Lane
What's
600 Penny Lane, you ask? Ok, I'll tell you, it's the address of my new booth at
Palmetto Peddlers Antique Mall in Florence, South Carolina. I decided to go for
it and try to sell some of my floral designs to some hardcore, bargain-hunting,
antique-loving southerners. So far, I've had a few nibbles, a couple bites, and
a whole lot of people asking me, "what's the lowest you'll go on this item". I
mean, come on people, help a girl earn a little pocket money. Mama needs some
new curtains for the family room and dining room.....I'm thinking something in a
chevron pattern?? Anyway, I thought I'd post a pic of one of my FAVORITE
designs. I actually let this one sit in my foyer for a week or two while I was
trying to decide if I was going to be able to let it go. What can I say? My
emotional connection with this arrangement runs deep! I found the most
beautiful twigs at Hobby Lobby, while they were 50% off of course. Fall is my
favorite time of year so, naturally, I love using all the oranges, yellows and
greens. What do you think? Are you a wreath girl or a floral arrangement
girl...and why?

Wow Jill nice stuff! Thanks for sharing :) Did you just learn to make this stuff on your own?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alicia! I've done a lot of things for my mom's home and our own home and just really love doing it. I get a picture in my head of what a space needs (or what I think it needs) and then just get busy creating it. Now we'll find out if other people like the pictures in my head!:)
